摘要
基于大学英语“金课”建设理念,依托我国某理工科院校英语听力课程进行课堂教学改革,探索MPS的教学模式对学习者课程参与度的影响。研究表明,该模式有助于提高学生的课堂参与度,激发学生学习的主动性。通过对定性数据的分析,研究进一步指出了可能影响学生课堂参与度的因素,以期为本科院校教学改革和课程建设提供参考。
Guided by the concept of constructing“golden courses”of college English,this paper explores the infl uence of MPS teaching mode on learners’course participation based on classroom teaching reform on the English listening course in a science and engineering college.The research shows that this model is helpful to improve students’class participation and stimulate their learning initiative.By analyzing qualitative data,the study further points out the factors that may aff ect students’classroom participation,in order to provide reference for the teaching reform and curriculum construction of undergraduate colleges.
