Zhongshan Specialized Towns Characteristic Industry Vocational Education Group is a typical case of operation mode for government-school-enterprise-industry to jointly construct industrial colleges on the platform of vocational education groups. Through analysis on such contents of the case as development background, historical chance and operation mode, this article deeply dissects the intrinsic causes of its phased successful development and provides certain reference significance to vocational education groups for their schoolrunning. The path to build operation mode for government-school-enterprise-industry joint construction of industrial colleges on the platform of vocational education groups will rely on three aspects: being adept to seize chances brought by planning and development of local economy and giving full play of governmental functions;building operational entities and forming multilateral communities of shared interests towards a common goal;following the principle of Seeking Truth from Facts and forming transparent group operating mechanism.
