Objective To explore the effect of accelerated rehabilitation nursing in patients with colon cancer. Methods From January 2017 to January 2020,1500 cases of colon cancer patients in our hospital were retrospectively selected.According to the nursing methods, they were divided into two groups:accelerated rehabilitation nursing group(n=750)and routine basic nursing group(n=750).The time of pain relief, time of first eating, time of stomach tube, catheter retention, time of first anal exhaust, defecation, hospitalization, occurrences of postoperative complications of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results The postoperative pain relief time of the accelerated rehabilitation nursing group was significantly shorter(P<0.05),the first time of eating was significantly shorter(P<0.05),the retention time of gastric tube and catheter were significantly shorter(P<0.05),the first time of anal exhaust and defecation were significantly shorter(P<0.05),the length of stay in hospital was significantly shorter than the routine basic nursing group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications was 6.7%(50/750)in the accelerated rehabilitation nursing group and 16.7%(125/750)in the routine basic nursing group. The former was significantly lower than the latter(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of accelerated rehabilitation nursing in colon cancer patients is better than routine basic nursing.
