习近平总书记在祖国大陆对台工作最前沿省份、台湾同胞最主要祖籍地福建工作17年半,亲自参与推动了闽台融合发展的一系列探索与实践,为之后孕育形成习近平对台工作重要论述奠定了坚实的思想和实践基础。立足新时代新担当新作为,福建要坚持以习近平对台工作重要论述为指导,认真贯彻落实党的十九届五中全会精神和习近平总书记在福建考察时的重要讲话精神,持续充分发挥对台工作独特人文区位优势,精准把握新机遇,勇于应对新挑战,深化推进新时代闽台融合发展,在探索海峡两岸融合发展新路上迈出更大步伐,为实现祖国统一和中华民族伟大复兴作出新贡献。

President Xi Jinping has worked for 17 and a half years in Fujian,the forefront province addressing Taiwan affairs and the main ancestral home of Taiwan compatriots.He personally participated in a series of explorations and practices to promote the integration and development of Fujian and Taiwan,which laid a solid ideological and practical foundation for the formation of Xi Jinping’s important statements on Taiwan affairs later.Consedering new responsibilities in the new era,Fujian should adhere to Xi Jinping’s important statements on Taiwan affairs,earnestly implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of Xi Jinping’s significant speech during his inspection in Fujian,continue to give full play to the unique cultural and geographical advantages of Taiwan,grasp the new opportunities accurately,be brave in dealing with new challenges,and further promote the integration of Fujian and Taiwan in the new era,making new contributions to the reunification of the motherland and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
