This article briefly describes the history of apicultural developing of Brazil,the changes of colonies and honey production in Brazil from 1961 to 2019,and gives a detailed introduction of apicultural production in Brazil of 2017.The results showed that the colonies and honey production in Brazil are increasing,and the highest honey production in the last 6 years happened in 2017.The south of Brazil has the largest number of apiaries,producing the most honey and beeswax,and the southeast beekeeper raised the largest colonies per capita.Rio Grande do Sul is the largest state with apiaries and colonies,as well as the highest production of honey and beeswax.Campo Alegre de Lourdes is the largest city with apiary and colonies in Brazil.Arapoti is the city with the most honey production.Jussara has the highest honey production per colony.
