In the new era,aesthetic education in colleges and universities is an important way to cultivate qualified socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,phy-sique,beauty and labor.Art education is an important way to implement aesthetic education in colleges and universities.The essence of aesthetic education in colleges and universities lies in cultivating students feelings and emotions,making students change"from weak to strong,from thin to thick"emotionally,further strengthening their will,improving their behavior,and finally shaping a complete person.There-fore,it is necessary to correctly understand the dual value direction of individual and school,optimize the top-level design of macroscopic aesthetic education,and pay attention to the guidance of core values.It is also important to promote the reform of aesthetic education in colleges and universities and construct the simultaneous"five education"system so as to highlight the social attributes of aesthetic education,promote the reform of aesthetic education evaluation,and provide intellectual and theoretical support for the development and system construction of aesthetic education in colleges and universities.
