基于文献计量学的中国典型城市生物医学工程基础研究实力分析

摘要 目的分析中国典型城市在生物医学工程领域的论文产出,了解我国典型城市在该领域的基础研究实力。方法在Web of Science数据库中检索2017~2019年我国生物医学工程相关论文,采用文献计量学方法,从高质量论文分布和机构研究实力等角度对我国典型城市基础研究实力进行分析。结果在生物医学工程领域,北京(1651篇)和上海(1194篇)近3年发文量均超过1000篇,高被引论文分别为12篇和9篇,论文数量进入全国前50位的机构分别达7家和4家;广州、南京、成都、深圳、杭州、武汉、天津和重庆发文量均在300~1000篇之间,均有高被引论文产出,也均有研究机构论文数量进入全国前50位;苏州、郑州、青岛、宁波和无锡发文量均不足300篇,缺乏高被引论文和实力突出的研究机构。结论在生物医学工程领域,北京和上海的研究规模相对较大,拥有众多实力突出的机构,且不乏高影响力成果,总体基础研究实力较强;广州、南京、成都、深圳、杭州、武汉、天津和重庆产出了一定量的研究成果,有个别实力突出的机构;苏州、郑州、青岛、宁波和无锡基础研究成果缺乏,实力突出的机构同样缺乏,整体基础研究实力较弱。 Objective To analyze the basic research competitiveness of biomedical engineering in typical Chinese cities.Methods Scientific papers on biomedical engineering published by Chinese scholars from 2017 to 2019 were retrieved from the Web of Science database.Bibliometric analysis was conducted to compare the basic research of biomedical engineering in typical cities in China based on the distribution of high-quality papers and research strength of institutions in each city.Results In the field of biomedical engineering,Beijing(1651)and Shanghai(1194)each published more than 1000 papers in the past three years,with 12 and 9 highly cited papers,respectively.Seven institutions in Beijing and four in Shanghai were among the top 50 institutions in the number of papers.Guangzhou,Nanjing,Chengdu,Shenzhen,Hangzhou,Wuhan,Tianjin and Chongqing published between 300 and 1000 papers,respectively,all with some output of highly cited papers,and with some research institutions ranking among top 50 in the number of papers.Suzhou,Zhengzhou,Qingdao,Ningbo and Wuxi each published less than 300 papers,lacking highly cited papers and outstanding research institutions.Conclusions In the field of biomedical engineering,Beijing and Shanghai are relatively strong in basic research with more outstanding institutions and the most high-quality papers;Guangzhou,Nanjing,Chengdu,Shenzhen,Hangzhou,Wuhan,Tianjin and Chongqing each have several outstanding institutions,with a certain amount of research outputs;Suzhou,Zhengzhou,Qingdao,Ningbo and Wuxi are lack in outstanding institutions and scientific papers.
