价值是客体对于主体需要的一种满足。思想政治教育的价值在于满足个人与社会发展的思想需要。新时代的思想政治教育怎样传播社会需要的思想?怎样启发个人思想?这两个问题统一于思想政治教育的价值旨归之中,即引导个人思想向社会思想不断趋近。解析思想政治教育的价值,要以思想政治教育基本矛盾作为价值源泉,以思想政治教育基本矛盾的阶段性表现作为价值判断的标准,以思想政治教育的基本规律作为价值遵循,最终以思想政治教育活动的主要原则呈现其价值。思想政治教育的自我审视、自我完善与自我发展始终贯穿于思想政治教育的价值解析之中。
