“CITIES IN NATURE” VS. “NATURE IN CITIES”:URBAN DESIGN RELIES ON AND HARMONIZES WITH NATURE

我国已进入生态文明建设的新时期,如何处理城市与自然的关系显得愈发重要。论文回溯了城市发展经历从"自然中的城市"逐渐走向"城市中的自然"的全过程,分析了国际相关学者对于城市发展与自然系统相关性的专业理解,重点论述了当下城市发展所面临的重要挑战,即需把握好自然系统与人类活动的关系。论文提出新时期城市规划建设应该遵循"适建性"的核心原则,指出未来城市发展需厘清不同的城市类型、规模及现状特点,因地制宜,顺势而为,创造兼具"生态性"及"在地性"的中国有机城镇发展新模式。

China has entered a new era of ecological civilization construction,during which the way to deal with the relationship between cities and nature is of increasing importance.The paper traces the evolution of urban development from "cities in nature" to "nature in cities",analyzes the professional understanding of international scholars on the connection between urban development and natural systems,and focuses on the important challenges that urban development facing today,namely the need to manage the relationship between natural systems and human activities.The paper presents the core principle of "development adaptability" for urban planning in the new era of "ecological priority",proposes that the future urban development ought to clarify the different spatial types,scales and current features of cities,then adjust measures to local conditions and follow the trend,and finally create a new mode of organic urban development in China with both "ecological" and "local" characteristics.
