Actively realizing the organic integration of tradition and modernity and effectively promoting the artistic design of leather modeling are of extremely important significance for enriching the content and form of leather modeling and achieving effective aesthetic expression.The aesthetic characteristics of leather modelling art were systematically explained,and the basic principles of the integration of tradition and modernity in leather modelling art were discussed.The strategies of integrating tradition and modernity in leather modelling art were put forward relying on traditional culture for leather modelling art design,innovating leather modelling expression methods with traditional aesthetics as the core,cleverly borrowing mature Chinese and western experience to promote leather modelling design,so as to improve the aesthetic effect of leather modelling art.
