Professor Yang Yushun’s experience in treating climacteric syndrome

杨雨顺教授从医40余载,潜心研究更年期综合征的治疗,认为该病的病因病机的关键是肾虚为主,肝郁气滞,肝脾肾失调,治以滋肾养阴清热,温肾健脾,补气养血,阴阳双补,交通心肾,滋阴疏肝。但临床上以肝肾阴虚症状明显,故提出调肝补肾为治疗大法。根据不同的临床辨证以自拟更年汤为基础方加减治疗,同时注重调节情志,身心同治,取得了良好的疗效。

Professor Yang Yushun has worked as a doctor for more than 40 years,devoting himself to the study of the treatment of climacteric syndrome.He believes that the key to the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease is kidney deficiency,liver depression and qi stagnation,and disorders of the liver,spleen and kidney,and it should be treated by nourishing kidney qi and clearing heat,warming the kidney and invigorating the spleen,replenishing qi and nourishing blood,tonifying both yin and yang,coordinating the heart and kidney,nourishing yin and soothing the liver.As climacteric syndrome is most evidently manifested by the symptoms of liver and kidney yin deficiency in clinic,it is proposed to regulate the liver and invigorate the kidney as its principal treatment method.According to different clinical syndromes,the self-made Gengnian Decoction is used as the basic prescription,accompanied by flexible addition and subtraction of medicines and dosage.At the same time,attention should be given to the adjustment of emotions,treating the body and mind at the same time,which has achieved good curative effects.
