The repetition of Chi Zijian’s creation over the years is not a lonely case in the literary world,but the creation commonality of a group of contemporary famous writers.The flattering evaluations made by some critics have even more obscured and aggravated this chronic literary disease.Tracing to its causes,this kind of writing symptom originates from the writer’s deviation of literary view,the deficiency of writing ability,the excessive infatuation with modernism and the irresponsible transcendence of criticism.Only by respecting the demands of the times of literature,reviewing the heritage of modernism and modernity,putting an end to historical nihilism and unnecessary mysticism,returning to the classics and emphasizing the non-utilitarian nature of writing,can this utilitarian impetuous era of literary disease be completely eradicated.
