Jintang au gold deposit in Pingjiang County,Hunan Province is located in the important gold mineralization area in the northeast of Hunan Province and in the Qin-Hangzhou important metallogenic belt.The main gold deposits in this area are all located in the strata of Lengjiaxi Group in the Mesoproterozoic.This paper introduces its geological characteristics,and discusses its genetic type,prospecting mark and prospecting direction.
