城市经济联系、空间网络与区域经济差距——基于中国西北地区五省份的经验证据分析

Urban Economic Linkage,Spatial Network and Regional Economic Gap:Based on Empirical Evidence Analysis of Five Provinces in Northwest China

以地级市为基本分析单元,基于城市间经济联系强度构建城市经济联系网络,采用社会网络分析方法研究1996—2018年西北地区城市经济联系网络特征,分析城市经济联系网络对区域经济差距的影响。结果表明:西安、乌鲁木齐、兰州、西宁和银川作为支撑西北地区经济发展的5个区域经济增长极在空间上具有很强的稳定性;西北地区城市经济联系强度呈现出显著的空间非均衡分布特征,由东向西呈现单调递减的态势;西北地区城市经济联系网络密度并不高,但整体呈现出缓慢增大的趋势;城市经济联系网络具有较好的关联性,但城市间的经济联系是“等级森严”的,却拥有较高的网络效率;城市经济联系网络同样具有较明显的“中心-外围”特征;城市经济联系网络的发育对区域经济差距具有显著影响,随着经济联系越来越紧密,区域经济差距呈现为收敛态势。

The prefecture-level city was taken as the basic analysis unit,and based on the revised economic linkage gravity model to study the intensity of urban economic linkages.Based on the calculation of urban economic linkage strength,the urban economic linkage network of Northwest China was established,and the characteristics of urban economic linkage network from 1996 to 2018 were analyzed by social network analysis.Finally,the empirical analysis of the relationship between urban economic linkage network and regional economic gap was carried out.Research shows that Xi’an,Urumqi,Lanzhou,Xining and Yinchuan,as the five regional economic growth poles supporting the economic development of the northwest region,have strong spatial stability;the strength of urban economic ties in the northwest region has shown significant spatial non-equilibrium distribution characteristics,monotonously decreasing from east to west;the density of the urban economic connection network in the northwest region is not high,but the overall trend is increasing;the urban economic connection network has good relevance,but the city economic links between cities are“strictly hierarchical”,but have high network efficiency;the urban economic network also has obvious characteristics of“center-periphery”;the development of the urban economic network has a significant impact on the regional economic gap.As economic ties are getting closer and closer,the regional economic gap is showing a trend of convergence.
