A Connotative Analysis of Wang Guowei’s“the heart of a pure person”

王国维在《人间词话》中提出“赤子之心”观念,不仅体现了其在构建一种新的诗学理论体系时所采用的思维方法,更是赋予了这个观念新的理论色彩。其“赤子之心”观不仅来源于西方哲学美学,又根植于中国传统文化;既对艺术家及艺术作品提出要求,又流露出一种对人类生命和社会深刻的关怀意识。由此探究“赤子之心”观的理论内涵,并反思王国维在构建新的理论体系时的矛盾之处,深刻把握“赤子之心”观念的本质内涵。

Wang Guowei puts forward the concept of“the heart of a pure person”in Jen-Chien TZ’u--hua,which not only embodies the thinking method used when constructing a new poetic theory system,but also gives this concept new theoretical color.His concept of“the heart of a pure person”is derived from Western philosophical aesthetics and rooted in traditional Chinese culture.It not only places demands on artists and works of art,but also reveals a deep sense of care for human life and society.This article intends to start from the theoretical source of the concept of“the heart of a pure person”,then explore the theoretical content of it and finally reflect on the contradictions in the construction of a new theoretical system by Wang Guowei so as to grasp the essential connotation of“the heart of a pure person”.
