The rapid development of multimedia technology has had a huge impact on modern higher education.This technology effectively improved the traditional teaching mode,which promoted the diversity and novelty of the classroom.Multimedia teaching is welcomed by more and more students.According to the academics characteristics of the energy major,this paper discussed the characteristics and problems of multimedia technology in the teaching process.And the advantages of multimedia teaching and the matters needing attention were analyzed.It is hoped that teachers will pay more attention to multimedia teaching and promote the in-depth integration of multimedia technology and traditional teaching.
