数字人文视域下图像库建设的现状分析与趋势前瞻

Analysis of the Current Situation and Prospect of Image Database Construction from the Perspective of Digital Humanities

"数字人文"作为横跨技术和人文的新兴领域,对基于"数据基础设施"建设的图像库提出了新的需求,带来了新的机遇和挑战。不同领域的图像库建设各有何种优势和不足?如何利用数字化技术、语义网、人工智能等现代信息技术拓展图像库建设的广度和深度?这些都是目前亟待探讨的问题。本文利用文献调研、案例调研、实践验证等方法,在深入调研国内外有影响力的典型案例的基础上,从内容描述层面、数据库建设技术层面、服务和版权层面,探讨不同领域图像库建设的共性和特性、优势和不足,提出图像库建设呈现出的深度融入互联网、跨学科融合以及图像的多维度语义标注三大趋势。

Digital humanities as an emerging field that spans technology and humanities,bring new demands for building image database based on infrastructure construction,new challenges and opportunities as well.What are the advantages and disadvantages of image databaseconstruction in different fields?How can we use digital technology,semantic web,artificial intelligence and other modern information technologies to increase the breadth and depth of image database construction?These are the issues that need to be discussed further.This paper uses literature research,case study,practical verification and other methods to explore the three major image databases in the world and typical influential cases at home and abroad.From the levels of content description,database construction technology,service and copyright,it also discusses the commonalities,characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the image database constructions in different fields and proposes three major trends,namely,deep Internet integration,interdisciplinary integration,and multi-dimensional semantic annotation of images.
