摘要
地方性知识是当地人应生产生活的需要,在文化群体内部约定俗成、代际传承的一种文化符号系统,代表着当地人对自然、社会的理解和解释,被当地人信仰和保护。地方性知识具有功能性、生活性和整体性的特征。吉尔兹提出的知识的地方性、建构性与阐释性理念,对学校教育中加强学校与地方社会的联系、坚守教育目的中的人的主体性、预留课程体系的地方性空间、追寻教学知识的符号意义、重视教师队伍的地方性知识、延续教育学的民族文化性格等方面都具有较高的启示价值。
Local knowledgeis a kind of cultural symbol system which has been established and passed down from generation to generation in the cultural groups by the locals. It is required by the need of production and living,representing the local people’s understanding and interpretation of nature and society,and is believed in and protected by the local people. Local knowledge has the characteristics of functionality,life,and integrity. Geertz’s ideas of locality,constructiveness,and interpretability of knowledge are of great enlightening value for us to maintain a close relationship between the school and the local community in school education,stick to the human subjectivity,reserve the local space of curriculum system,seek the symbolic meaning of knowledge in teaching,attach importance to the local knowledge of teachers,and continue the national cultural character of pedagogy.
