阳明学在西方的译介、思想与理论研究

A Review on the Western Translation,Philosophical Study,and Other Theoretical Research of Yang Mingxue

阳明学是中国儒家哲学的重要学术思想。随着国际汉学研究的发展,阳明学在西方学界的译介传播、哲学思想及理论视角方面得到相当的重视和研究。在译介传播方面,阳明学在西方宗教思想的影响下被翻译成诸多版本;在哲学思想方面,“致良知”“知行合一”等概念的争论显示出西方学界对阳明学日渐深入的思考与认识趋势;在理论视角方面,从比较哲学、现象学、历史学等视角多维度、立体化审视阳明学思想,逐渐提高了阳明学的研究水平。阳明学在西方的译介、思想与理论研究显示了它在英语语言文化语境下内在张力与思想活力。

Yang Mingxue constitutes a major part of Chinese Confucianism. With the development of international Chinese studies, the translation of Wang Yang-ming’s works, philosophical and other theoretical study of Yang Mingxue receive considerable attention. In translated versions of Wang Yang-ming’s works, it can be found that Western religious traditions have great impacts on the translation. In the philosophical study sphere, disputes on the concepts like the Extension of Knowledge and the Unity of Knowledge and Action demonstrate an increasingly deep thinking and understanding of Yang Mingxue among philosophers. Other theoretical efforts by scholars of comparative philosophy, phenomenology, history, etc. improve the research level of Yang Mingxue by constructing a multi-dimensional research framework. The Western translation, philosophical study, and other theoretical perspectives adopted in research on Yang Mingxue display its immanent tension and vitality in an English language and cultural context.
