新型冠状病毒是目前人类发现的第7种冠状病毒,新型冠状病毒肺炎是由该病毒引起的一种以发热、干咳、乏力等为主要临床表现的急性传染病,严重危害人类健康。目前在ICD-10工具书中无法查找到新型冠状病毒肺炎的编码,如果编码员不及时关注WHO对COVID-19编码的更新,容易出现将临床诊断病例分类到U07.1、孕产妇病例分类到O编码、新生儿病例分类到P编码、Z03.8用于疑似病例等错误。通过对COVID-19的临床表现、实验室检查、影像学检查、诊断标准的理解分析,总结COVID-19的编码思路,旨在提高COVID-19分类的科学性和准确性,以满足医院、疾控、医保等各方面的需求,也为从事ICD分类的人员提供参考。

Novel coronavirus is the seventh coronavirus found in humans at present,novel coronavirus pneumonia is an acute infectious disease caused by the virus with fever,dry cough and fatigue as its main clinical manifestations,which seriously endangers human health.At present,the code of Novel coronavirus pneumonia cannot be found in the ICD-10 tool book,if coders do not pay attention to WHO’s updates on COVID-19 codes in time,errors such as classification of clinically diagnosed cases to U07.1 code,maternal cases to O codes,neonatal cases to P codes,and Z03.8 for suspected cases are prone to occur.This article summarizes the coding ideas of COVID-19 through the understanding and analysis of the clinical manifestations,laboratory tests,imaging tests,and diagnostic criteria of COVID-19,it aims to improve the scientificity and accuracy of the COVID-19 classification to meet the needs of hospitals,disease control,medical insurance and other aspects,and also provide a reference for those engaged in ICD classification.
