Political Bureau of the Central Committee reviewed the Outline of the Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection and High-Quality Development Plan at its meeting of August 31,2020,making environmental protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin part of national strategy.This paper analyzes the opportunities for the banking sector resulting from this important development framework.It examines infrastructure needs,the requirements for environmental protection,the prospects for the transformation of the financial structure,and issues related to industrial upgrading and the construction of key urban areas.The paper offers suggestions for banking institutions in the Yellow River Basin and is intended to serve as a reference guide for their business development.
