iADC Design Museum sits in the heart of Shapu Art Town at Baoan District,Shenzhen,and it is a cultural center and landmark that marks a new community built upon previously undeveloped parcels.The museum anchors the Art Town,a group of art spaces that link studios,galleries,art schools and exhibition spaces into an integrated cultural district.By bringing in vibrant multifunctional communities and art incubators,the museum and Art Town now have a sense of place that often evolves with the community over time.Together,they define areas without history or identity as majors destinations for the arts.
