Ship gearbox is an important part of ship propulsion system.The technical state of gearbox directly affects the ship’s sailing state.Taking the abnormal fault of a marine gear box as an example,through the analysis of structure and principle,fault mechanism,fault checking and repair verification,the process of abnormal fault checking of the ship gear box is reproduced and summarized,which provides experience for similar troubleshooting and prevention of the type gear box.
