Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of short-wave ultraviolet(UV)in the treatment of herpetic pharyngeal isthmus in children. Methods:From July 2019 to February 2020,80 children with herpetic pharyngitis≥3 years old were selected, they were randomly divided into the two groups with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given oral Siji antiviral oral liquid and recombinant interferonα2b spray throat. If necessary, they were given symptomatic treatments such as rehydration and antipyretics. Those with secondary infections were given antibiotics. On the basis of the above treatment, the observation group only retained oral drugs combined with short-wave ultraviolet radiation. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The antipyretic time, sore throat relief time and herpes relief time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Short wave ultraviolet ray is effective and safe in the treatment of herpetic pharyngeal isthmus in children.
