The Prognost-SILver system,which was developed by PROGNOST in Germany,is prepared to provide on-line monitoring,fault diagnosis,and interlock protection for the Hyper Compressor Unit,i.e.,a new ultra high pressure reciprocating ethylene gas compressor unit.In this paper,the main functions,features and applications of the Prognost-SILver system are introduced.
