Traditional dress style is a distinctive cultural symbol of the times,which is different from written expression,but visual expression of traditional culture.In film and television works,the audience can understand the connotation of traditional culture through the change of the pattern and style of dress.This paper briefly describes the visual function and cultural inheritance of dress culture in film and television works,and shows that proper dress design is of great significance to the emotion and culture expression in film and television works.
