Research Progress on Radix Astragali and Its Preparations in Treating Heart Failure

心力衰竭(HF)是大多数器质性心血管疾病的终末阶段,主要是指各种原因引起心脏功能异常,结构改变,泵血障碍以致全身组织器官代谢受阻的进行性疾病。由于全球人口的增长和老龄化,心血管疾病的负担继续增加,因此,越来越多的研究致力于改善和发展目前的心衰治疗方法。中医药在防治心衰方面有着重要作用,中药黄芪(RA),作为一种益气温阳活血类药物,经多项研究证实在改善心肌能量代谢,加强心脏收缩舒张能力,保护心肌、利尿、抑制心室重构等方面疗效显著。

Heart failure(HF)is the terminal stage of most organic cardiovascular diseases,mainly referring to progressive diseases of abnormal cardiac function caused by all kinds of reasons,structural changes,dysfunction of blood pumping and metabolic disorders of tissues and organs in the whole body.As the burden of cardiovascular disease continues to increase due to the growth and aging of the global population,more and more researches are to improve and develop current treatments for HF.TCM plays an important role in the prevention of HF.Radix Astragali(RA),as a kind of Qi-tonifying,Yang-warming and blood-activating Chinese medicinal,has been proved effective in improving myocardial energy metabolism,strengthening cardiac contraction and diastolic capacity,protecting myocardium,promoting diuresis and inhibiting ventricular remodeling by many studies.
