命运与自觉:当代中国比较哲学的兴起——评吴根友教授《判教与比较:比较哲学探论》

Destiny and Self-consciousness:Rise of Comparative Philosophy in Contemporary China--Review of Classification and Comparison:A Tentative Study on Comparative Philosophy

吴根友教授新著——《判教与比较:比较哲学探论》代表了当代中国哲学发展进程中比较哲学兴起的一种理论自觉。全书对比较哲学元理论问题、中西哲学史中具体的比较研究问题以及“世界历史”中比较哲学的愿景——如何通达“世界哲学”的问题进行了抽丝剥茧的探讨。笔者在“道论”视域下对吴根友教授的新作进行批判性点评,我将表明:吴教授所提出的“比较哲学是中国哲学的命运”的命题,以及应当以“道论”超越“判教”思维的比较哲学方法论,推动中国哲学从地方性哲学走向世界哲学等构想,极大推进了当代中国比较哲学的研究,但其中“以道观之”的方法论构想,以及对“世界哲学”概念的解读等理论问题则需要进一步阐明与论证。

Wu’s book represents a theoretical self-consciousness of Comparative Philosophy in the development process of contemporary Chinese philosophy.The meta-theory of comparative philosophy,the specific comparative studies on the history of Chinese and western philosophy,and the prospect of Comparative Philosophy in the era of“world history”are discussed in the whole book.I will make a critical comment on Wu’s book from the perspective of Dao(道论).I will argue that the proposition of“comparative philosophy is the destiny of Chinese philosophy”put forward by Wu,and the comparative philosophy methodology that surpass the thinking“Classification”with“view from Dao”(yidaoguanzhi以道观之)and the prospect that promotes Chinese philosophy from a local philosophy to the world philosophy,greatly push ahead Comparative Philosophy in contemporary China.However,the methodological conception of“view from Dao”and the concept of“the world philosophy”proposed by Wu and other theoretical issues need to be further clarified and demonstrated.
