摘要
糖尿病是四大慢性非传染性疾病之一,严重威胁人类健康。糖尿病的发病机制尚不明确,体内氧化应激与炎症水平升高与糖尿病的发生发展密切相关。槲皮素是一种广泛存在于植物的花、叶和果实中的黄酮类化合物,具有抗氧化应激、抗炎、降糖及保护心血管系统等生物学功能。国内外已开展了大量关于槲皮素防治2型糖尿病的科学研究。本文综述了近年来槲皮素在防治2型糖尿病方面的研究进展,并对今后相关研究工作的发展方向进行了展望。
Diabetes mellitus(DM)is one of the four chronic non-communicable diseases,which is a serious threat to human health.The pathogenesis of DM remains unclear.Oxidative stress and increased inflammation in vivo have been related to the development of DM.Quercetin is a kind of flavonoid compounds widely found in flowers,leaves and fruits of plants.It has been shown to have biological functions such as anti-oxidative stress,anti-inflammatory,hypoglycaemic actions as well as cardiovascular protection.A large number of scientific studies on quercetin in preventing and treating type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM)have been carried out in recent years.This review summarizes the research progress of quercetin in relation to the prevention and treatment of T2 DM and highlights the future directions of related research work.
