唐代小说的里坊书写与唐长安城的地理格局一致,使其成为研究长安历史地理的特殊史料,但也易使论者忽视对小说本身文学特征及规律的探讨。而热力图则可以利用大数据及可视化的优势,揭示出隐藏在唐代小说文本背后的深层信息。热力图上里坊空间分布重心在东部、北部的集中,反映了唐代小说在创作传播上的士人化特质。其中某些里坊色度级别与其所在区域不符,这种“例外”恰好显示出地理区位与小说类型内容的关联。此外,将热力图的远读方式与传统的文本细读相结合,还可在看似平淡的里坊设置中发现唐代小说在情节结构上的精心设计。
