In the 1920s,the ideological environment of the society is completely new.The“revolution”is deeply rooted in people’s mind,and the“counter revolution”has no place in the society.Huangpu Military Academy is built in such a background.What kind of students do military schools need to train for the“revolution”and what are the requirements for the students before entering school?Through the investigation of Huangpu’s enrollment requirements and process,the final enrollment results are analyzed.The comparison between the enrollment requirements and results finds the identity and gap between the enrolled students and the requirements,which reflects the hardship of the Kuomintang and Communist in the initial stage of the military academy.And the examinee’s registration process is a vivid portrayal of the time when people worried about the nation and struggle.
