1921年胰岛素的发现使糖尿病患者免于死亡的威胁。胰岛素的发现经历了从偶然到必然的过程,推动了对糖尿病这一疾病认识的深入。胰岛素的发现是人类的探索精神和勇攀科学高峰勇气的体现,胰岛素制剂的发展展现了人类对科学智慧的执着追求和对美好生活的向往。本文简要回顾胰岛素的发现历史以及自发现以来的百年历程,在纪念这一伟大发现的同时,也向致力于胰岛素研发并付出艰辛工作的科研人员和医护人员致以崇高敬意。

The discovery of insulin in 1921 saves the lives of diabetes mellitus patients from risk of death.The discovery of insulin experienced a process from accidental to inevitable,which promotes the continuous understanding of diabetes mellitus.The discovery process is the embodiment of human spirit of exploration,and the brave to climb the peak of life science.The development of insulin preparation shows human's persistent pursuit of scientific wisdom and yearning for a better life.We briefly review the discovery history of insulin and the course of one hundred years since its discovery.In commemoration of this great discovery,we also pay high respect to the scientific researcher and medical staff who are committed to the research and development of insulin.
