摘要
本文从系统功能语言学视角,将教师提问视为师生之间的互动事件,从人际意义出发探究教师提问对学生应答的影响。通过分析英语教师在课堂上的提问话语及其与学生回答之间的关系,发现优秀教师与普通教师在选择人际意义方面有不同特点,而不同的人际意义选择对学生回答的长度有显著影响。论文揭示了教师提问的互动性差异,并对其话语特征在语义和语法两个层面加以阐释,以话语为抓手为一线教师改进课堂提问的互动效果提供借鉴。
Adopting the perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics,this study views teacher questions as interactive events between teachers and students,examining interpersonal meanings in teacher questions and their interactive effects on student answers.An analysis of EFL teachers'questions and their relationship with student answers was conducted,revealing different ways of making interpersonal meanings between excellent and average teachers,as well as a significant association between different interpersonal meanings in teacher questions and the length of student answers.The study demonstrates the interactivity of teacher questions and offers an account of their discourse features at both semantic and grammatical levels,informing EFL teachers how to improve their discourse practices to make their questions more interactive with students.
