Research on the Impact of Rural Residents′ Sources of Income on Poverty

提高贫困地区农村居民收入是实现减贫、脱贫的重要手段,厘清不同收入来源对贫困的影响效果,对针对性采取措施解决农村贫困问题、防止脱贫户返贫具有重要意义。基于农村居民收入与贫困的理论逻辑分析,利用2010—2018年全国23个未脱贫省份的省际面板数据实证检验农村居民不同收入来源对贫困的影响。结果表明:农村居民工资性收入、经营净收入和财产净收入对减缓贫困具有显著的促进作用,转移净收入对减缓贫困作用不明显;不同收入来源对减缓贫困的边际贡献依次为经营净收入>工资性收入>财产净收入>转移净收入;不同收入来源对贫困的影响存在明显的地域差异,具体表现为不同地区之间以及同一地区内部之间的差异。基于研究结论提出相关政策建议为促进农村贫困人口全面脱贫提供参考依据。

Increasing the income of rural residents in poverty-stricken areas is an important means to achieve poverty alleviation.Clarifying the effects of different sources of income on poverty has a great significance for taking targeted measures to solve rural poverty problemsand prevent poverty-stricken households from returning to poverty.Based on the theoretical and logical analysis of rural residents′ income and poverty, used the inter-provincial panel data of 23 provinces that had not been lifted out of poverty from 2010 to 2018 to empirically test the impact of rural residents′ different sources of income on poverty.The results showed that rural residents′ wage income, net operating income, and net property income had a significant role in alleviating poverty, while net transfer income had no obvious effect in alleviating poverty;the marginal contribution of different sources of income to poverty alleviation was as follows, net operating income>wage income>net property income>net transfer income;there were regional differences in the impact of different sources of income on poverty, which was manifested in obvious differences between different regions and within the same region.Based on the research conclusions, advancing relevant policy recommendations to provide decision-making reference for promoting rural population to get rid of poverty.
