身份认同对农民工住房消费的影响

The Impact of Identity on the Housing Consumption of Migrant Workers

以原国家卫计委2014年流动人口动态监测数据为样本,采用倾向值匹配法,实证分析了身份认同对农民工住房消费的影响以及社会保障在两者关系中的调节作用。研究发现,身份认同显著增加农民工住房消费;相对于没有社会保障的农民工来说,拥有社会保障的农民工身份认同引起的住房消费增加更多;随着住房消费分位数的增加,身份认同对农民工住房消费的影响程度呈现先上升后下降的“倒U型”特征。政府应大力推进户籍制度改革,完善社会保障制度,解除农民工身份转换的制度约束,营造良好的社会融合氛围,并考虑到在不同住房消费水平上身份认同效应的差异性,最大限度发挥身份认同在改善农民工居住质量中的作用。

This paper empirically analyses the impact of identity on the housing consumption of migrant workers and the moderating effect of social security in the relationship between them by using the propensity value matching method on the basis of the dynamic monitoring data of migrant population in 2014 of the original National Health and Family Planning Commission.As shown by the results,migrant workers’identity does significantly increase their housing consumption;for compared with migrant workers without social security,those with social security identity witness more increase in their housing consumption.With the increase of the housing consumption quantile,the degree of impact of identity on housing consumption of migrant workers has demonstrated an“inverted U-shaped”trait,which first increases and then decreases.Therefore,the government should vigorously promote the reform of the household registration system,improve the social security system,remove the institutional constraints on the identity transformation of migrant workers,create a good atmosphere for social integration,and take into account the difference in the effect of identity in different levels of housing consumption,and maximize the role of identity in improving the living quality of migrant workers.
