曾巩与欧阳修交游史实考论

A Textual Research on the Friendship between Zeng Gong and Ouyang Xiu

通过以时间为序对曾巩与欧阳修的交游考证,可知两人政治、文学、学术等方面的彼此影响。在三十多年的交往中,他们保持着良好的师生关系,其志向、主张乃至性格、作风有很多共同之处,切磋砥砺,同声相应。然而两人之间的影响又是不对等的。欧阳修是影响曾巩最大的人物,曾巩在立身行事、治学为文等方面皆受欧阳修沾溉。他虽然很受欧阳修器重,但不论在政坛上还是文坛上,显然都是作为欧阳修的羽翼出现的。但考察二者之关系,也应看到曾巩对欧阳修政治上的襄赞;学术上,曾巩对欧阳修的显在影响,主要在史学方面,欧阳修编修五代史时便吸纳过曾巩的意见。

Through the textual research of Zeng Gong and Ouyang Xiu’s relationship in chronological order,we can know the two men’s mutual influence on each other’s political,literary,academic ideas and so on.In more than 30 years,the two maintained a good teacher-student relationship.Their ambitions,opinions,personalities,and styles shared much in common,and echoed each other’s views.However,the influence between them was not equal.Ouyang Xiu was the person who had the greatest influence on Zeng Gong.Zeng Gong was blessed by Ouyang Xiu in his moral training,academic research,and literary writing.Although Zeng Gong was highly regarded by Ouyang Xiu,he appeared as the assistant of Ouyang Xiu in both political and literary circles.By observing the friendship of the two,one can also notice Zeng Gong’s support in Ouyang Xiu’s politics;academically,Zeng’s influence on Ouyang Xiu was obvious,especially in historical studies,as Ouyang Xiu accepted Zeng Gong’s opinions while compiling the history of the Five Dynasties.
