中国各民族在漫长的历史发展过程中形成了中华民族共同体意识。近代以来帝国主义入侵造成的民族危机激发中华民族共同体意识从"自在"走向"自觉",这也是民国时期西藏地方在与中央"不正常关系"时期依然坚定维护国家统一的内在力量。在中国共产党的领导下,解放西藏是中华民族共同体意识的必然,也是西藏各族人民中华民族共同体意识的内在要求,具有历史承续性和政治明确性。西藏和平解放反映了全国人民特别是西藏各族人民的共同心愿。历史证明,西藏和平解放是中华民族共同体意识的充分体现。

Throughout history, ethnic groups in China have formed the consciousness of the Chinese national community. The national crisis caused by the imperialist invasion since modern times inspired the consciousness of the Chinese national community from being "naturally existed" to "self-realization". This is also the internal strength of Tibet’s "abnormal relations" with the central government during the period of the Republic of China.E mancipating Tibet under the leadership of the Communist Party of China is a necessary result of consciousness of the Chinese national community. It is also the inherent requirement of the consciousness of the Chinese national community of the people of all ethnic groups in Tibet with historical continuity and political certainty. History proves that peaceful liberation of Tibet is a full embodiment of the consciousness of the Chinese national community.
