厦门经济特区是中国最早设立的四个经济特区之一,历经40年的砥砺拼搏,昔日的海防重镇已变为改革开放的排头兵、先行地和试验场。进入新时代,厦门经济特区高质量发展面临着新旧动能转换的考验。厦门必须增强机遇意识和风险意识,从我国进入新发展阶段大局出发,勇当新时代改革开放排头兵,继续敢闯敢试、敢为人先,以一往无前的奋斗姿态在更高起点上推进改革开放。

Xiamen Special Economic Zone,one of the first four special economic zones established in China,has developed from a former coastal defense town to a vanguard,pioneer and testing ground for reform and opening up after 40 years hard work.Entering the new era,Xiamen special economic zone faces the challenges of replacing the old growth drivers with new ones for high-quality development.Xiamen must increase the awareness of opportunities and risks,proceed from the overall situation as China enters the new stage of development,act as the vanguard of reform and opening up in the new era,continue to dare to try and be the first to advance reform and opening up from a higher starting point with an indomitable attitude.
