An Analysis of the Features of Translatological Book Reviews in International Journals:An Example of the Book Reviews of Introducing Translation Studies:Theories and Applications

国际期刊翻译书评文章主要由书目著录、内容简介和评价意见三部分组成。对此,通过解析英国学者芒迪的译学专著《翻译学导论:理论与应用》三个版本的14篇英文书评,以期为国际期刊翻译书评的写作与发表提供借鉴和启示。

Translatological book reviews in international journals mainly consist of bibliographical description,summary of the book,and reviews of the book in terms of their contents.Based on the comparison and analysis of the 14 English book reviews on Jeremy Munday's monograph Introducing Translation Studies:Theories and Applications(1st ed.,2nd ed.,3rd ed.),this paper tries to explore the features of translatological book reviews from the abovementioned three parts in the hope of shedding some light on how to write and publish translatological book reviews in international journals.
