明儒吴伯通著作考述

A Research of Wu Botong’s Works in the Ming Dynasty

吴伯通是明代著名儒学家、教育家,督学两省,六历乡试,以建书院、育人才、励后进为务。其著述丰富,各目录书及方志著录多达十三种,然方志所载多有讹误,实则仅为十种。现存三十四卷《石谷达意稿》包含五种著述在其内,其余五种著述亡佚。

Wu Botong was a famous Confucian scholar and educator in the Ming dynasty.He supervised schools in two provinces and presided over the provincial examination six times,regarding it as his duty to build academies,cultivate talents and encourage students.His writings contained a richness of as many as 13 kinds of catalog books and local history book records.However,there are many errors contained in the chronicles that can be actually divided into ten kinds.The existing thirty-four volumes of Shigu’s Manuscript for Expressing Willingness contain five kinds of works in it.The other five kinds of works have been long been lost.
