从“朿”“束”互用看“音随形转”

Pronunciation Changing with Form of a Chinese Character:Seeing from the Mutual Use of Ci(朿)and Shu(束)

因“朿”“束”互用,导致一批异体字“音随形转”。从本质上看,“音随形转”是对形声字声符表音规律的反用。从形音关系看,音随形转破坏字形、字音间的固有联系,破坏形声字声符的构意作用。从字词关系看,音随形转引起字词关系的变化:破坏字词之间的对应关系,破坏原词的读音与词义。但利用“朿”“束”异写规律,却可沟通一批异体字,考释一些隐性疑难字。

Due to the mutual use of ci(朿)and shu(束),a number of variant Chinese characters’pronunciation changes with form.In essence,it is a reverse use of the phonetic rules of pictophonetic characters’phonetic element.From the perspective of the relationship between form and pronunciation,character pronunciation changing with character form destroys the inherent connection between the pronunciation and meaning of a Chinese character,and the meaning-formation function of pictophonetic character's phonetic element.From the perspective of the relationship between characters and words,the change of the relationship between characters and words caused by character pronunciation changing with character form destroys the corresponding relationship between characters and words,and the pronunciation and meaning of the original words.However,by using the different writing rules of ci(朿)and shu(束),we can link up a number of variant forms of Chinese characters and make a textual explanation of some opaque and knotty characters.
