迦湿弥罗堪布孜纳米扎是公元8世纪末被迎请到吐蕃的著名学者之一。文章着重梳理了孜纳米扎的生平事迹,以及他翻译和校勘的佛教文献,并论述了他在吐蕃从事佛经翻译、戒律讲授和传承方面所做出的主要贡献。从而进一步揭示了藏传佛教前弘期的律法传承主要源自堪布孜纳米扎的学术观点。

Kasmira mkhan-po Jinamitra is an important scholar who was invited to Tibet at the end of the 8th century.This paper discusses his life stories.It comprehensively summarizes the Buddhist texts he translated and collated,and his contributions on Buddhist scripture translation,Vinaya teachings and inheritance of Karma.Thus,it further reveals that the Vinaya inheritance of Tibetan Buddhism in the early period mainly originated from Kenpo Jinamitra.
