As a literary genre featuring animals,plants and non-living things as protagonists,classical Tibetan allegorical novels contain aesthetic conceptions and are naturally a part of the ecological literature category.Instead of lingering on superficially emulating and elaborating ecological aesthetic ideas,classical Tibetan allegoric novels contain a large wealth of humanistic spirits and aesthetic values.This paper attempts to explore the ecological aesthetic ideas in classical Tibetan allegorical novels,thereby shining a light on the particular significance of ecological aesthetics for Tibetan literature.
