摘要
法国大革命时期激进的雅各宾派著名领导人马拉于1793年遇刺身亡,这一历史事件成为许多艺术家创作的源泉。雅克·路易·大卫当时就创作了《马拉之死》,以纪念自己崇拜的政治偶像兼密友马拉;而伟大的挪威画家爱德华·蒙克用完全不同的方式,创作了传世名画《马拉之死》。同样的主题,不一样的创作手法,反映的是画家的心路历程。本文从心理学中的恐惧管理理论出发,分析了两位画家成长经历中的负性事件对世界观形成的影响,并由此分析画家笔下死亡的表现方式,指出两幅名画正是因为揭示了画家对亲密关系的内心写照而流芳百世。
Jean-Paul Marat,a famous radical Jacobin leader during the French Revolution,was assassinated in 1793.This historical event has become the source of many artists’creation.Jacques Louis David created"the death of Marat"at that time to commemorate his political idol and close friend Marat;the great Norwegian painter Edvard Munch created another famous painting"the death of Mara"in a completely different way.The same theme and different creative techniques reflect the artist’s mental process.Based on the Terror Management Theory(TMT)in psychology,it was suggested that the influence of the negative events in the growth of the two painters on the formation of their worldview,and then analyzes the expression of the death.It is pointed out that the two famous paintings are famous because they reveal the painter’s inner portrayal of intimate relationship.
