Inspiration of Xinhua Daily Development During the Anti-Japanese War

创刊于抗日烽火中的《新华日报》是中国共产党从成立到取得全国政权的民主革命时期,于国统区唯一面向全国公开发行的党报,同时也是中共在国统区的喉舌,更是第二次国共合作期间的忠实报道者、历史见证者和真实记录者。《新华日报》在揭露日寇暴行,报道抗战事迹,宣传抗战言论,宣传组织国统区的工人及青年运动,以及反击国民党方面组织的三次反共高潮等诸多方面功勋卓著,也为抗战胜利后新民主主义革命的进一步发展奠定了基础。

Founded during the Anti-Japanese War,Xinhua Daily was the only nation-wide daily Party newspaper during the Democratic Revolution.It was also the mouthpiece of CPC in the KMTcontrolled areas.It witnessed,recorded and reported the second CPC-KMT cooperation,and made eminent contributions in disclosing Japanese Army’s savage acts,reporting on war stories,promoting advocacy campaigns participated by workers and youth in the KMT-controlled areas,and fighting back to the third anti-communist upsurge launched by the KMT.Xinhua Daily also laid a solid foundation for the further progressing of the New-Democratic Revolution after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
