Drama in Education(DIE),a new teaching method combining“drama” with“teaching”has been gradually concerned by domestic educators and teachers.The application of DIE in senior high school English reading class can stimulate students'enthusiasm and interest in learning,and improve the learning efficiency and teaching effect significantly.Based on the basic concept and teaching mode of DIE,combined with specific English reading teaching cases in senior high school,the paper aims to explore the positive role and teaching advantages of DIE in senior high school English reading teaching.
