the development of football is closely related to the advanced polymer composites.Polymer composites have the advantages of light weight,high strength,anti-aging and so on.Therefore,they are very popular in the field of sports and protective devices.In this paper,the performance of carbon fiber composite,aramid fiber composite,ultra high molecular weight poly ethylene fiber composite,PBO fiber composite,hybrid fiber composite and other advanced polymer composite materials are analyzed In order to provide reference for the wide application of polymer composites in many fields,the innovative application of polymer composites in the development of football and its protective equipment was deeply explored.
