利用等频面分析各向异性晶体的双折射

摘要 在光学课程的学习中,各向异性晶体的双折射一直是重点和难点。根据基本的电磁场理论,利用等频面对各向异性晶体中的双折射性质进行了直观的分析,计算了e光和o光在各向异性介质界面的反射和折射性质,并利用等频面很好地分析了超材料中的光学负折射。利用电磁仿真软件对单轴各向异性介质中的双折射以及超材料中的负折射现象进行了模拟,加深学生对各向异性介质及其中双折射性质的理解,激发了其学习兴趣,提高了教学效果。 The birefringence of anisotropic crystal has always been the focus and difficulty in the study of optics.According to the basic theory of electromagnetic field,the birefringence properties of the anisotropic crystal are analyzed with the aid of equal frequency contour.The reflection and refraction properties of extraordinary wave and ordinary wave at the interface of anisotropic medium are calculated,and the optical negative refraction in metamaterials is also well analyzed based on the equal frequency surface.In addition,the phenomenon of birefringence in uniaxial anisotropic media and negative refraction in metamaterials are simulated by electromagnetic simulations,which enables students to deepen their understanding of anisotropic media and the birefringence properties and stimulate their interest in learning,effectively improving the teaching effect.
