党和军队的关系对于社会发展具有重大意义。中国共产党创造性地发展了社会主义革命理论和军队建设思想,在错综复杂的新旧民主主义革命中探索了符合中国革命实践的武装力量生存发展模式,为夺取中国革命的胜利奠定了重要基础。更为重要的是,中国共产党对人民军队的领导和塑造,还为社会主义现代化谱写了辉煌篇章,将现代化进程中的两大目标富国和强军统一起来,逐步走出一条两者相统一的发展道路,破解了落后国家经济发展与国防建设之间的矛盾,为处于现代化进程中的国家提供了一种全新的党军关系模式。

The relationship between the Party and the army is of great significance to social development. The CPC creatively developed the theory of socialist revolution and the idea of army construction,explored the survival anddevelopment model of the armed forces in line with the practice of the Chinese revolution through the intricate old and new democratic revolutions,and laid an important foundation for the victory of the Chinese revolution. More importantly,the CPC’s leading and shaping the people’s army haswritten a glorious chapter for socialist modernisation. It provides a new model of party-army relations for countries in the process of modernisationsince the CPC unifies the two major goals of modernisation,namely enriching the country and strengthening the army,gradually works out adevelopment path that unites the two goals,and resolves the contradiction between economic development and national defence construction in backward countries.
