代际支持对农村老年人生活满意度的影响分析——基于CHARLS调查数据

The Influence of Intergenerational Support on Life Satisfaction of the Rural Elderly:Based on CHARLS Data

在"抚养—赡养"模式和代际交换关系理论指导下,基于中国健康与养老追踪调查2018年数据,运用二元Logistic回归分析,研究代际支持对农村老年人生活满意度的影响。结果表明:子代对亲代的经济支持和情感慰藉,亲代为子代提供经济帮助、帮助照料孙代,均会显著提高农村老年人的生活满意度,但高强度的孙代照料则会降低农村老年人的生活满意度。建议:坚持家庭的主体地位并支持农村老年人选择家庭养老,构建系统性的家庭养老支持政策,拓展家庭养老的功能和责任,构建积极的老龄社会观以助力老年人实现"老有所为",等等。

Under the guidance of the"foster-support"model and the theory of intergenerational exchange relationship,we used binary Logistic regression analysis to study the impact of intergenerational support on life satisfaction of the elderly in rural China on the basis of the 2018 data from China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS).Results show that children’s financial and emotional support to their parents as well as older people’s financial assistance to their children and provision of help in child-rearing,will significantly improve life satisfaction of the rural elderly;however,the high intensity of the kinship care will reduce their life satisfaction.Therefore,this paper put forward some suggestions:letting families play a dominant role in senior care and supporting older adults in their choice for home care;developing systematic supportive policies for home-based care to expand functions and responsibilities of families;and constructing a positive view on aging to help older people achieve something in their old age.
